Acquiring links from other blogs related to your subject matter will definatley help boost our page rank with search engines,if the blog is a high Pr rank it will help even more. How then do we acquire backlinks from blogs related to ours?
Some might think it takes alot of time and effort on your part to communicate with them, well you are right but it is well worth it. Send them a very nice email asking them to be a affiliate of there site or to be placed on there blogroll.
Some blog owners will completely ignore you and others will be glad to add you to there blogroll. The bigger the blog the tougher it is to get them to accept you as most big blogs forgot where they came from and want the little guy to struggle like they did to get to the top.
Persistance pays off and the more you ask the more you will receive. As a new blog owner just starting out I would set aside 2 hours a day for this task alone if you can work this into your schedule. It will pay off dividends very fast if you put the time into it.
