That’s a great list. I see you’ve got lots of offline methods there. These can be very effective, however people do tend to forget them. They think that because a blog is online, then it must always be promoted online as well.

Writing your URL in the sand reminds me of another one I’ve seen used: writing it on the street in chalk. That could be a very good one — particularly if you choose a busy street, and you’ve got an easy to remember URL.

Somewhere within the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer but only for a very short while.
